When I have a rough moment; I have this mental image that I make myself remember. You know how when you were a little kid and you had to hold your mom's or dad's hand when walking through a crowd...you can't see where you’re going because everyone is taller than you...but you don't fear or get confused because they’re still holding your hand. It doesn't matter that you can't see the path or that you have no idea where you are...you have peace because they’re still holding your hand. I just try to remember that I'm walking with God the same way, not by sight or knowledge, but by faith that He will never let go.
Psalm 9:10 "And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee."
2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Proverb 3:5, 6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

ReplyDeleteGreat post, Kimberlyn. Thank you for the reminder! Walking by faith isn't such a scary thing when we focus on Whose hand we hold. What a sweet comfort.
