Romans 6:23a - "For the wages of sin is death..."
There is a consequence for our sin: eternal separation from God in Hell. God is just and cannot overlook sin. Since all have sinned, all must pay for their sin. There is nothing man can do to satisfy the judgment against him.

The Solution
Romans 6:23b - "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Jesus Christ came to this world to save the souls of men. Through His Death and Resurrection He has purchased our salvation.

To be saved, we must put our faith and trust in Christ and His Work. We call out to God in prayer to save us.
